Having watched the performance of ‘I Caan You Caan’ I thought I must have missed something as it appeared so hands-off and was very fooling. The effect feels clean, is really easy (for anyone with a bit of experience working with cards), and direct.

What I like most about this though is the possibility of doing it with a stack of billets or biz cards with words, drawings, or symbols on which suits my style more. It takes place (mostly) in the participant’s hands, and there is also literally no set up or reset required. This is the stand out piece on this project in my opinion, and a strong debut from Luke Closer.

The next effect by Luke, ‘Cash in Hand’ already has a mental magic theme incorporating the ‘which hand’ plot, weaving a clever set of reveals around the !@#$e of a card, with a kicker at the end that has been in plain sight since the beginning. A clever effect that can be adapted to one’s own style of performing.

If you are familiar with Quinta by Phill Smith, then Adam’s ‘Choice of Three’ will probably be something you will like. The strength of this streamlined version is in the clarity and fairness you are able to provide to the participant up front, before any choices are made.

This super simple utility principle can be used in any way your imagination or performing persona takes you, but Adam provides three or four different presentational ideas to get started.

I really like this project, and think it can cater to a fairly wide range of performers and styles. Definitely real world, hard hitting, direct and workable material.

Has anyone gotten this, if so, what are your thoughts? Seems like real-world effects.

My favourite though was 'Choice of Three'. A few months ago, I opened a parlour act with themed around on UK gameshow called 'Deal or No Deal' (or 'Feel or No Feel' as I called it). Quick, fair, and direct... and produced great reactions!

Honestly, this is great value for money. I cannot imagine anyone buying this and being disappointed.
