After 4 and a half years of monthly publishing the October 2025 Issue # 5.7 will be the final issue of “The Disclaimer”. We are immensely proud of every single word we’ve published.

There were several significant changes for us this year and it became clear we would need to make changes to be able to continue publishing ”The Disclaimer”. For several months we kicked around a number of alternatives but none of them we felt would allow us to be able to keep the same look, feel and quality we established. It became obvious to us the only realistic and best decision was to finish the run.* While it was a difficult decision to make, it allows us to finish on our terms before we start missing issues or before the quality slips and while it was still fun.**

Now for the practical stuff.

We recently stopped taking new supporters.

Since current supporters pay month by month no one will be out any money as the payments will just stop.

We will do a “Year End” book as usual with all the issues/tricks we will have published this year for our Silver and Gold supporters, So you will get the annual book for year 5.

I think that should cover everything. Pretty simple really.

Personally, I need to thank Jeremiah Zuo. He wrote 90% of all the material, did ALL the illustrations as well as ALL the layout and design for every issue and all the books and the website and ads. He also helped me immensely behind the scenes with a lot of the operational work that needed to be done. And there was plenty. I don’t know how he did it all but more than grateful he did.

To our contributors thanks for trusting us to share your brilliant material with the magic world. We were pleased and humbled. No one turned me down when I asked for an item and many offered material.

To our many supporters over the years, some who have been with us from Issue 1, we can’t thank you enough. Your steadfast support and encouragement allowed us to exist.


We have a few things outside of The Disclaimer in the works including a new book of Curtis Kam’s magic we began working on with him a little while back. That will be our #1 project for now.
