The beginning of a year-long celebration around the world, on the centenary of the great magician’s passing.

The main event is on Saturday, November 1st in Douglaston, Queens in New York City.

It will start at 10am and will run to 6pm with the focus on the Houdini Family coming to the USA, Houdini’s time in NYC, as an adolescent, a young magician, a dedicated son, a writer, publisher, showman and as the great escape artist and master magician.

Saturday is shaping up to be an amazing day, with never to be repeated lectures, talks, panel discussions, performances and an afternoon reception with the New England Magic Collectors Association (NEMCA).

Friday will focus on various sites in Manhattan that were important to Houdini and the Magic Community, and on Sunday, a similar focus but in the Borough of Queens.

The preregistration for the whole weekend Is $120.00 and the individual day registration is: Friday- $30.00, Saturday- $65.00 and Sunday-$30.00.
