Hi guys,
I am researching and developing a way to have any card from my stack named. And automatically be able to get to it in various, natural looking ways. I want to avoid estimation cuts. For example what I mean. Someone named the ace, I can spell Ace, I can spell Ace (of) Heart(s). I can spell someone’s name. But it becomes difficult, ones they name a card that is in a position higher 12. So I thought it might be an interesting project, collecting ideas from you as many sources as possible, and hopefully getting enough ideas to make it work. What are your favorite ways to get to a name card without cutting the deck? Do you have suggestions where I could read further? Cheers |

There was an old Dvd series put out by Daryl that was all about many different ways to reveal a card. It's a five volume dvd set called Daryl's Card Revelations. It seems to have every way of revealing a card that Daryl knew and thought was worth doing. This is likely the perfect resource for what you are looking for.

Yes, I checked out Revelations, great DVDs, but it is just card tricks.

I assume your issue is the estimation cut not being justified then having to re adjust. Darwin Ortiz covers these both with his effect test your luck.

I've played with this idea quite a bit, think of it as the trick that can't be explained but with a Mem deck.

I wrote two pamphlets for spelling to any card for Mnemonica and Aronson, no matter where the card is located. You can download them, for free, here:
