I have asked a couple times and he hasn’t produced the quote so I am left with the assumption he doesn’t want to admit he made a mistake. Go figure on the internet huh?

Kevin Kelly, working with the speed of a wounded gerbil, selflessly ignoring the hazards of paper cuts and cardboard abrasion, is busy spreading fresh Marlo love throughout the World from his secret sanctuary in Charleston.

I’m pleased to mention that the first printing of “Ed Marlo Forty Years Later” sold out in eight days. With the small over-run, fearless logistics king Kevin Kelly has only 14-15 books left in stock. Thanks to everyone for your enthusiastic support.
Something tells me that Ed and Muriel are looking down and smiling. https://randywakemanmagic.com/EdMarlo40YrsLater.html |

Ed Marlo Forty Years Later sold out of its first printing in eight days. It has been universally praised as the finest single book of Ed Marlo's commercial magic ever written. Bill Malone, Allan Ackerman, Joe Monti, and Aaron Fisher all agree . . . this is an absolute "must have" book for the working performer, containing several complete golden routines and techniques never before released to the magic fraternity. You can make a very good living from the magic in this book . . . many have.
The second printing is now in stock as of 2/10/2026 and available for immediate shipment, enhanced with a few "Easter Eggs" and full color images. Kevin Kelly and Randy Wakeman are happy to pay shipping and handling to your door in the United States: the price is $69.95 delivered. http://randywakemanmagic.com/EdMarlo40YrsLater.html |

First, I want to say I love this book. Right now, it is my favorite and I am working through all the material. Some effects or moves, I did not think I liked at first but as I played around with timing and such, grew more and more fond of them. I do have a question if Randy is Left handed because unless I am misreading the instruction, I found many instances it mentioned left or right hand that should be reversed. Is it a misprint in the instructions? Regardless, the confusion just made me dive in deeper until I found the solution. So if anyone is undecided as to to purchase the book, I would advise you to get it now. Thanks, Randy.

Hello Zatara,
I am right-handed. Kevin Kelly, who posed for the illustrations, is also right-handed. I'd give my right arm to be ambidextrous. |

Can you tell us who actually wrote the text? I have often found Marlo's own writing to be less clear than I like.

The cover shows Randy and Kevin, both with writing chops.
