It is a Sanada gimmick. You can find them many places including Jay Scott Berry's website.

Among other things, it is used to vanish and produce sponge balls, bills and silks. Pure magic in Jay Scot Berry's hands.

The Sanada Gimmick was invented by Toyosane Sanada of Osaka, Japan.

It appears to be based on the Abbott's push out silk production, illustrated in Volume 1, page 128 of Rices Silk Encyclopedia.
Henry Evans sells a similar device which is quite effective. I like the realistic look of the Sanada Gimmick. Kregg

Sounds like the same thing you can do with a sleeve/topit combination

Yes you can mattisdx but you can also use the end of a screwdriver for a hammer to put in finishing nails! don't mean its the BEST way.
PS don't take that the wrong way

What about a dye tube or palmo? If this sounds right, check out website Laflinmagic.com

When you use sanada gimmick, the production is more visual than a sleeving production.

Saw Dan Garrett produce an egg from empty hands & crack the raw egg into a glass. I believed he may have used one & probably sells them. Don`t think you could do that as cleanly with a palmo or dye tube.

Yes, Dan Garrets "egg production" is a wonderful thing to see.
He is a great mix of Yin and Yang. Wonderful simple ideas mixed at times with killer sleight of hand. Be safe and creative. Harris
