The last batch of pennies was minted this afternoon by the US Mint in Philadelphia. After 232 years, they are now officially assigned to the trash bin of history...

Do you think it is possible they are allowing for things like that in their pricing? They knew this was on the way and Walmart is not famous for losing money and being unprepared.
Also some states have laws against rounding up or down, which will put them in a strange position. There is a real lack of clarity from the government on this issue.
