Can the effect called
Card Warp by Roy Walton
be performed with paper bills without destroying one of the bills?

Not as written.

nor would it look very good as the bills are LONG

Folding the bills might suggest a simple gaff.

But still not as dramatic as when done with cards.
...to all the coins I've dropped here

I've done it done using a card folded the long way and the bill folded in half along its short axis. I'm sure this is a variation that everyone and their mother has come up with.

Bob McAllister's version is the first one that used a bill and card to perform Card Warp, and it's great.

Ya, Tearing money isn't good especially if its not you money!! You could do card warp with a bill. Just at the end give them the bill which is theres. and tear the card. Instead of tearing both. If they wana see the card then, well your in trouble.

I would definately check out Bruce Cervon's version. It uses a coin and a card and makes the trick much more convincing than with only cards. But, you have to destroy the card. Perhaps you can do it with your business card and a dollar. That way you can have a magical way of giving away your business card, the hard part would be handing it out in one peice, which I have an idea for..........I'll get back to you.

As I recall, Cervon published two versions in his book Ultra Cervon, and many magicians rave about the second version.

Has anyone tried this with a credit card and bill?

Partizan, that would be great if it would work, but a credit card doesn't bend and unbend easily like a playing card does.

A credit card can't be done. Perhaps a business card. Smile

Check out Bill Warp from Richard Kaufman's Collected Almanac for some interesting ideas with a bill and a card.

You may also what to investigate Luke Dancy's Warped for an unfolded visual card warp that can possibly be adapted for use with bills. Good luck with the Asher Twist using bills though. Smile

Don't forget Micheal Close's Dr. Strangetrick from Workers #1. You can also look for Apocalypse Vol 3 #7 for Howie Schwartzman's Star Warp. Both reference Bob McAllister's Green Warp that later showed up in Richard's Almanac.
