How I present collusion

Spread deck showing the mates and take out the two cards that are the predictions.

Re square deck so the evidence is lost

Respread deck face down and count from the bottom

Thanks for sharing David that's a nice solution if having the deck face up is an issue Smile

I agree, that is quite a neat way to reveal it face down without all of the "work" that I am doing.

I will give that further thought - thank you sir!

JuanPoop, I enjoyed reading your handling of the effect even if I don't perform it the same way, its also great that others have shared some nice subtleties too this is what the cafe should be about.

Personally, I prefer counting from the top. Here is one possible handling:

Spread the cards from left to right and remove the pairs. As you remove the rightmost pair, slightly displace the card to its immediate right toward the left, creating a narrow break in the spread at that point.

Pick up that displaced card, scoop up all the cards to the left of the break, and drop them on top of the talon. This takes only a couple of seconds and looks and feels quite natural. Later, you can perform a false cut or shuffle if desired. Finally, ask for the numbers and deal from the top. A while back, I posted a slightly different scooping action in the Secret sessions for those interested. That's the one I use as I find it more efficient that way.

Like JuanPoop, I also like using an Ireland shuffle. It's very convincing in the context of the trick and easy. I also give an alternative mixing procedure in in this post. Again, dealing face down from the top is my preferred handling as it matches the way the two participants dealt their own cards.

Thanks for the link Claudio there were some more great ideas shared, I never imagined when I shared this effect that it would be so beneficial as I have definately learned something new from it... It reminds me of the Magic Cafe of old Smile

Thanks Claudio. This is a great way to do it, as are the other alternatives mentioned in the Secret Session thread.
I will do this and the Ireland shuffle when I do this trick again and see what works best.
Cheers!

Warren …. Surely you have used AK-47, it is so so good. Just surprised that it’s not mentioned on the Cafe that I can find.
I did attempt to pm you but unable to as your messages has reached maximum.

It is definitely mentioned. Here is just one thread, but there are others...

Such a good trick. There are other versions as well:
- Allan Kronzek - Think of One (original)
- John Carey - Think and Sync
- Ryan Schlutz - Deconstruction and Construction & Decon 2.0
