Does anyone happen to know the card trick that Max Maven performed at the 2010 EMC? He mentioned that he would describe it later in the chat, but now—16 years later—I’m watching this on DVD and got curious.
I know he references The Jinx, but I was wondering if this effect was ever put into print elsewhere. Did Max possibly include it in one of his books, lecture notes, or another publication? Any insight would be greatly appreciated—thanks in advance! |

If you could describe the effect a little, one of us might know.

Thanks Mike... The trick consisted of a deck of cards was shuffled. Cut, there was 2 spectators. Then, they dealt down if I remember right to make a pile. Then, they looked at the cards. Each one picked a card out and swapped it with the other spectator maven was able to read the first spectator's mind without looking in anything. And then the second spectator he looked at the cards he held and was able to reveal the other card. The other spectator picked.
