So I just randomly open The Google and there's a headline on the main page "The Peaky Blinders movie images you don't want to miss before you watch the movie!" Or something along those lines, with a dramatic photo next to it.
Um... Yes I do want to miss them before I watch the movie. That image seemed like a pretty big moment that just lost signifcant impact.

That one isn't too bad, I guess. But it is part of a pattern I'm noticing.
"Show producer talks about THAT character death on tonight's episode!" Quit it!
It's everywhere. It's in the headlines, it's in YouTube magic exposures. And it seems like it's just going further and further into providing too much information without any effort required to obtain that information. I used to could just not click on something about a movie or show I hadn't seen yet, now it's right in the titles.

Anyway. There's my old man shouts at clouds rant for the day. Now I have to go get some kids off my lawn.

Critter how's the craic? I actually haven't noticed the above but I'm not surprised by your observations. Zero tact or care. Can see why you would be annoyed, as you're not even remotely looking for the answers that they are openly giving. Everyone is trying to stand out and grab your attention, not an iota of care about spoilers. For good or bad, that's the world we are living in. One thing that has pi**ed me off for years, are some of the official trailers giving away major plot points. Sometimes, it feels like the trailer is just a very quick rundown of what happened in the movie. For that reason, I tend to avoid them until after I've watched the movie.

By the way, I enjoy reading your posts about media, I'm wondering did you enjoy Stranger Things? Personally, I loved it. I was born in 83 so I was drawn in immediately. Thought the show was magic (including season 5).

Cheers!

I did quite enjoy it. The final season wasn't quite the best way to go out, IMO, but it was servicable and there were great things about it.
