I'm not thrilled with the "raised on Earth" twist, but it does look good. I can't believe they found a way to give him the pink shirt!

I'm skeptical but we'll see. He-Man was kind of near and dear to my childhood. This looks like The Barbie Movie for dudes.

I think the idea of a muscular skeleton dude put me off. I mean the one thing you don't have when you are a skeleton is muscle right? I seriously couldn't get past it LOL. And yes I know EXACTLY how stupid that is!

He-Man in the original cartoon was always cheek in tongue, especially with Skeletor, his quips and shenanigans. He's a proper meme superstar. Only later iterations tried to make it serious which didn't really hit as audiences still gravitated towards the eighties version as the definitive version.

It's a kids cartoon as opposed to Anime nowadays, geared more towards adult. Especially the eighties version, it was campy in the best kinda way! He-Man and Prince Adam look exactly the same except for the tan! ![]()

I also worry because they did the whole "they're on Earth now" bit in the Dolph Lundgren one. I'm not saying it won't still be awesome. I just have some concerns.
