Let me just take this moment to hope that all my Café friends here who are on the Eastern Seaboard are safe with the blizzard coming through!

Well, it's Tuesday. The snow has stopped. But, the roads are still closed and there's no bus service. Which means, Ed doesn't go to Walmart to work today! I called out (there's a special number) and then I called Walmart to let them know. They didn't answer (which didn't surprise me, they rarely answer the phone) so I called the Pharmacy to ask them to let management know and THEY DIDN'T ANSWER! Leading me to believe the entire store is closed for today!

Went in on Wednesday. They WERE closed to customers, any ASSOCIATES that came in were put to work cleaning. (This happened once when I got to work and there had been a power outage. After a while, managment said they weren't going to open. If you wanted to get paid for the rest of the day, help clean out the freezer, I managed about four hours, and went home.)
