I have an original LePaul style wallet that's a rarity, purchased decades ago directly from the great Howard Schwarzman. This top card man was a living legend among New York magicians. Schwarzman became a magic dealer in 1976 and specialized in rare imported tricks. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Howie_Schwarzman)

This wallet is in virtually perfect condition, made of dark brown Italian leather, and just a lovely thing to own and use. It includes a cloth carrying bag and card-to-wallet instructions by Howard Schwarzman.

Does anyone have idea what this wallet is worth? I used it just a few times for Confabulation and feel it should be passed on to someone who'd employ and appreciate it.

Thanks for any help you can offer!

Jerry

There have been about 80 views -- does anyone have an idea about this?

Value is dependent on what it is worth to the buyer. I know that sounds dumb. But the more patient you are in selling, the easier it is to find someone who highly values a wallet like that.

Depends, how much is in it?

The best way to determine worth for items like this is to search completed (sold) E-Bay auctions for the same item.

Barring no results, the next best method is to list it for sale on E-Bay. The market will determine its value.

Of course, its value to you may be more than what someone might pay for it.

Auction it. Auctions tend to get to the real value, as long as you can get the word out to the serious buyers.
