Back on topic Green Arrow is seemingly a billionaire killing serial killer.

Wow, wonder if he'll butt heads with Batman over that. Like a Punisher/Spidey dynamic.
Or Punisher/Cap, Punisher/Daredevil, Punisher/pretty much anyone else in his Universe...

Could be really interesting.

Yea. Green Arrow is going to be an interesting addition.

No trick arrows, no fortune. Oh and Black Canary is around as well as an investigator. A recently murdered billionaire whose name you know and what seems to be an “I Know What You Did Last Summer” storyline makes an interesting concept.

Coming out in mid May. (I’ve been fortunate enough to see a pre release copy.) It is an interesting take on the Emerald Archer.

I heard the Absolute writers actually read each other's work so it makes the universe more cohesive.

Would make sense.

I mean continuity didn’t really matter for a long time in comics.

Through the 70’s and 80’s it wasn’t that big a deal. Then giving Spider-Man and Batman more titles, and then crossover to epic stories like Knightfall that demanded continuity throughout titles it had to happen.

A decade or so ago DC did an EPIC failure with The New 52. An attempt to clarify continuity. Commercially it was successful at first, then oh lord it dragged to failure hard.

The idea of an “Absolute Universe” leaves no need for old continuity.

I was skeptical when I first heard about the project but what I've read so far has won me over.
