First off, SEKITAN is, above all else, a peek tool. You ask your spectator to think of a word; they convert it Into numbers by typing it into their phone's dialpad, and those numbers are then secretly scanned via your phone's camera by SEKITAN.
The app performs the conversion and allows you to know the thought-of word instantly.

To achieve this, several scan and peek modes allow you to hide the necessary actions. Furthermore, these actions add extra layers of effects beyond just revealing the word!
Scan Modes:
• Dialpad: Just like your spectator, your prediction will be made on your own dialpad.
• Notes: Your prediction appears as hand-drawn numbers within an iPhone Note.
• Calculator: A perfectly functional calculator that mimics the iOS design, allowing you to display your prediction.
• Camera: Use a fake iPhone camera UI to "record" your performance to your iOS gallery while discreetly taking the peek.
• Fakescreen: A screen mimicking your dashboard that allows you to scan the spectator's phone.
• Gallery: Your prediction appears as numbers hidden and integrated into an image: an image found right within your actual iOS gallery.


Each of these modes features subtleties that allow you to glimpse the spectator's thought-of word right under their nose without them ever suspecting a thing.

Revelation Modes:
When the number is scanned, SEKITAN doesn't just give you the peek of the word; it also displays a number that can serve whatever effect you desire:
• Copy: The displayed number will be exactly the same as the one typed by the spectator.
• Sum: The displayed number corresponds to the sum of all the digits typed by the spectator.
• Date: The number displayed on your phone, when added to or subtracted from the spectator's number, results in today's date. You can even include the hour and minute!
• Manual: An addition or subtraction of your number and the spectator's will result in a forced number of your choice. This number can even be entered "on the fly" during your routine.
• Celebrity: SEKITAN will display the birth date of the celebrity thought of by the spectator or the number of days remaining until their next birthday!

It sounds like a lot, but I haven't mentioned the most important point: EVERYTHING IS RIDICULOUSLY EASY TO DO!

What happens if there are multiple words that could be the spectator’s word based on their number combination?
I presume you would need to fish first and then the app would let you select the correct word in order to do all the other revelation options?

I usually tell the following during my presentation:

"Please try to come up with a large word, 6 letters, even more! The bigger the word the more interesting it is really"

This allow to filter A LOT of possibilities overall.

But for those scenarios where the word is 5 letters or so, it is very rare that you have a lot of differences and the first one is usually the one. Or the one you feel can make sense and be something typical for their vocabulary. Not like an AI generated helped word kinda like...

Oh if you even miss the word, you have one of the following effects as a backup: SUM (your number and their number match a prediction or even today's date), COPY (an exact copy of their number) or TOTAL (the total of all digits match your prediction hand written in notes or even calculator).

Does anyone have video of the options used to peek the numbers the spectator types into their phone app. I feel like some people would assume that, if you saw the numbers you could somehow figure out the word. So, is there a way to obtain those numbers, without them suspecting that you saw them? Or does every method rely on them knowing you saw the numbers?
