I tend to agree but maybe a little noise would not be such a bad thing and it could be wonderful to put a keepsake such as an old watch that belonged to the spectators mum or dad.

Think of how much you will save on Cube In Bottle, not to mention no more refilling bottles from the top (are we living in the 1880s?). This effect will pay for itself.

I don’t think I would appreciate someone sealing my watch in a bottle and then expecting me to keep it as a souvenir. Just my two cents.

The fact that they don't list any sort of warranty or what happens if something breaks is staggering for the price point. I had the smoke watch that stopped working after a few uses and they were less then helpful, when asking about the warranty about this they didn't even respond which tells me all I need to know about not investing in this. Has a lot of possibilities but customer service and reliability matters.

I ordered it. Took the plunge for the pre-order.
First time ever purchasing a Joao Miranda effect. The people I know say they are impressed with the way this was executed. This should play strong. Hoping Joao comes through on the service - that matters a lot to everyone, especially at a higher price point. I will circle back here to report after I see the demos in Vegas at their booth - after stepping away from mine.

The idea with the padlock in opinion is great, and I have an idea to change the presentation that would suit me. That would be a nice keepsake for the participant and not having to break the bottle open.
This does seem like a great tool and I’m very close to taking the plunge. |

I suspect that there isn’t much that can “break” beside the glass bottle (if a spectator decides to remove an object).

The video showing the demo with the shadowbox is not something that is commonly gonna be used by most people, and apparently it’s a signature routine of the performer. Fun to watch, but that’s not realistically what most performers are gonna be doing.

The only thing that baffles me is how a bottle can be prepared in a few minutes.
And, watch in bottle is weird. Who would want that? |

So funny and crazy moment to see the lady shaking her expensive watch inside the bottle...Not a great idea to put a watch or a credit card inside the bottle and give it as a souvenir !!! I would put the car keys... lol

The effect looks good, apart from the big brown paper bag, surely someone will want to look inside? At a guess it's probably using UV glue, I've used it to stick glass to glass, the uv makes it quick dry and clear so no glue residue. I think I'll wait to see a few more performances before jumping in, but in the right setting this does look impossible to layman.
