Pigcake just did an update that he's starting to prepare the US ones while he's sending a create to Pete. So I anticipate a few more months for me in the UK if it's going through customs. Etc. Then expecting they'll probably be issues with the add ones. But it'll be a pleasant surprise if my pessimism is wrong.

Hello! For what it is worth, I got an email today asking for the final leg of shipping. That bodes well to me!
I kickstart a decent amount of things as a boardgame aficionado so I have an in-built assumption that any project I back will be either at my door in ~two years or not at all. I fully understand many don't feel that way but, since I do, I'm alright and eager for the delivery! |

That's before he starts sending it out. S0 just being realistic to avoid disappointment. In all honesty I expected at least a years wait. I thought the original timescales were probably not realistic from my experience of creating props on a much smaller scale. I'm not annoyed, just not about to start camping by the front door expecting a delivery. It's moving on and had updates. |

WTF, someone on the kickstarter page is saying we have to pay for shipping? I've never come across a kickstarter where shipping was not included? This was never mentioned?! I'm going to be very ****ed of if this is the case.
Edit: Extra costs for shipping are never mentioned on Kickstart (which Kickstarter highly recommends to do). The pledge explicitly mentioned shipping $0.00, if it was calculated later it would give an estimate. I can't find if and when they said anything about shipping, besides shipping from US, UK and EU, to keep costs low and avoid extra import tax and stuff like that. I totally understood the delays because of the products, but now they are ****ing with us. I don't give a ---- if its just $10 or whatever. The fact that they haven't mentioned it before if very, very shady business. |

Once again, this is my own experience from backing so many boardgame Kickstarters but I also always assume I'll get a later shipping bill. I live in NC USA and just paid ~7 bucks for shipping. Not bad & I've been hit with A LOT worse. BUT I budget in this mentally & financially when backing Kickstarters. I fully agree that shipping should have been more clearly explained or anticipated in the campaign and just because I'm ok with it doesn't mean everyone else should be.
Hopefully everyones is as reasonable a shipping fee as my own! |

On Pete’s latest video on You Tube he has just said that the box from PigCake is on its way from the USA. So it’s still hurry up and wait!

Maybe he'll include the lecture on Lipping as a way to apologize for the wait? /s
