I have used Timetrix for different effects, some as stated in the booklet or my own. However, I have not been satisfied since there is a lot of heat on the watch itself due to the nature of the effect(s). In addition, I have tried to wear this watch with the face of the watch towards me because it is not a working watch. However I have gotten busted on one occassion by someone who noticed that the watch was not working and I just had to act surpised and say that either the battery needs replacement or that it just broke.
Does anybody use a routine that takes the heat off the watch? Do you wear the watch as an everyday watch when you are performing or do you take out the watch just for the effect and say that it is broken or the battery is dead? Thank you very much. MI

Possible idea: Say you picked up the watch in a marketplace when you were in Russia (or some other Eastern Bloc country) for the equivalent of $5. And that's all it was worth, because the dumb thing stopped working in about three days. But you kept it as a souvenir of your trip and a monument to Russian technology.
Russia is where they used to do a lot of experiments in remote viewing -- mostly for military purposes. So you'd like to use the watch to try a little experiment ... etc. Here you could adapt the basic Timetrix routine of having several people look at times on the watch, using a remote viewing theme. You'd try to send your consciousness to their hand and look at the watch they're holding. Then try it with the next person, etc. The watch -- being mechanical and low on design appeal -- looks like something you might find in Russia! Just a thought. Jerry |

Jerry,
Thank you very much for sharing your very interesting idea. I like your presentation and I like the fact that you openly state that it is broken and your plot has a plausable and entertaining context. Thank you again for your insight and help. Best regards, MI

MI -- Thanks! Glad you like the idea.
I had lusted for a Stull watch for years, but they're very costly, and because they're pocket watches you really need some justification for using one. Timetrix at least looks like it's of this century. Another advantage, as you know, is that you don't have to make any calculations on the fly, as you do with a Stull watch. Let me know if you come up with any cool ideas for Timetrix; it's really great to have a Stull watch in affordable wristwatch form. Jerry |

Richard Gerlitz makes an excellent stull watch from antique solid 14K gold pocket watches for about $1,200.00-$1,700.00. But they are sold as fast as he makes them. I will keep you informed of any good ideas.
Thanks again for your help. Cheers, MI
