Hello everyone,
I would like to build an illusion that I can do in my living room, I have a very large living room. I would like to make my two boys appear for their Birthdays. Maybe using mirrors. I have access to a wood and metal shop. Where can I get these design plans or you may have an idea or I can purchase a book. No Osbourne stuff. More on the modern side. Simple and undetectable. Thanks for any help.. J.Parra |

Have you checked out Mark Wilson's book of Magic? Perhaps the plans for one of the props there will be helpful.

Andrew Mayne's specter cabinet might work, it's cheap too. Here's a link:

I agree that Andrew Mayne's stuff is good. I have Illusion F/X and the Infinity Cabinet would work great for what you are wanting. It doesn't use mirrors and it can be done surrounded. I have one that I built but it will cost around $200 to build. Try also books by Jim Steinmeyer, Gary Darwin, or U.F. Grant. If you have to, take an Osborne plan and remake it to your own likings. Hope this helps a little.
