I think a lot of them are puppets made by Folkmanis -- if you can tell me whcih specific pupept you are wondering about, I can take a look and might be able to help.

A lot of the Folkmanis things are really nice -- well made and most of them work really well. The company is a great one to do business with (from the retailer's point of view) On their web site you can get links to their online retail reps as well as the physical stores that they have, at least in the US.
