Has anybody used this effect before? I am experimenting in elastic band magic, and feel this may be a nice ending to a routine. I have seen it performed and took a fancy to it.
the description says you get a dozen star shaped bands, how long do these last? the same time as normal elastics? |

Stargazer is a very nice ending to rubber band routines. And yes, they last as long as ordinary bands. You could make your own bands with a piece of wood, some nails and a soldering iron.

For any lady, Stargazer is a lovely give away. I always ask a lady "Tonight may I make you a Star"?
I use the Star band and a normal band to do a couple of bandy things, LMH and bands across knuckles during which the Star band is kept taught so it appears that both bands are normal. Then into Stargazer. At the finale I say "There, tonight I have made you a star" Super little giveaway, that and the pearl poodle. |

I ordered it 2 weeks ago and am waiting for it to arrive. I thought I was the only one wondering about this trick before I found this post. It's good news that some of you like the effect. And it's good news that you can make your own bands, and it's even better to know that the star band can be disguised as a normal band and used for other tricks before turning into a star.

Love Stargazer! The dealer who I originally bought it from is out of refills. Does anyone have a source?

You cannot beat a trick that leaves you clean, is a great crowd pleaser, and provides a super hand out at the end, and this fits the bill. A great trick.

I saw this trick years ago from a catalog, and it sounded too good to be true to me so I skipped it.
2 weeks ago I saw a demo video and I bought it immediately. I saw this thread while waiting for it to arrive. Now I am waiting for my parcel in great anticipation. |

Don't hesitate to buy it.
Kinda pricey ($15) at local shop, but it's a great trick and a wonderful giveaway. TJ |

Anyone have a link to a demo of Stargazer?
It sounds like a good finish to a rubberband routine. |

I ordered the stars from an online stationary store months ago, paid and never received them. Now I can't find who I ordered them from.
