Because of the barbs these obviously are not as smooth as regular rings.
This makes the handling a little awkward. (I must say here that I am no expert on ring handling)
However I think if anyone was handling loops of barbed wire their actions would be a little awkward so I don't see a problem there.
I like all my effects to have a begining, a middle and an end. So I just have to come up with them.
I can see lots of potential and for some effects what is left out can be as important as what to include.
