I would like to know what you regard as your top three greatest books you have ever read or want to read if they are out of print etc. They don't have to be strictly magic related. They don't have to be recent releases. They can be as old as time itself. We don't want to argue as to why you think they are so good or discuss if any, religious or spiritual reasons etc. Maybe for another post at another time. The three that you prefer most important can be in any order of three if you cand decide which is your number one. If you change your mind please post again if you wish to.
My three books,(at this moment in time and in no particular order)are; The Skeptics Dictionary by Robert Todd Carroll The Mind and Magic Of David Berglas by David Britland Our Magic by Maskylyne & Devant Over the course of this topic the objective for this will become more apparent. Thank you. Best Regards |

I doubt I could pick a "Top 3" though "Theatre of the Mind" and "Paramiracles" have had a lot of influence on me.
Thanks! Scott B.

Not necessarily the top 3 but here are a few of my favorites.
13 Steps To Mentalsim by Corrinda Complete Syzygy by Lee Earle Stunners + by Larry Becker Magick by Bascom Jones ( I have several issues of this, wish I could afford the bound collection) I agree with Theater Of The Mind Paramiracles |

I'd add:
1) Larry Becker's World of Super Mentalism Vol. II -- full of lesser-known but strong effects and utility items. 2) Bob Cassidy's second book, whatever it's called (basically, the act that's on his videotape); the "Name and Place" routine is a classic, do-it-any time mental miracle. 3) Jas Jakutsch vol. 1-3: Some great principles for getting w-a-a-y ahead, as well as some great billet handlings. 4) Paul Curry's World's Beyond: Probability Zero (the inspiration for Zenner-Tech and other later effects), Out of This World, many others. Cheers, Jerry |

Dear Mighty
I do not understand what you mean by 'print on paper to play' Kenton Knepper has some picture effects in a book called Kentonism, which may not be exactly what you want as there is still a lot to read in between the pictures. Best regards |
