Where can I get Doug Dyment's Sign Language? From him only or a dealer? Does anyone here recommend it?

Is Daniel Love Dream Sign better then Sign Language or about the same?

I do not think it is an either / or choice.
In my humble opinion anyone interested in these techniques needs to read Dougs work on the subject. Dream signs is good, but Sign Language has a wealth of instruction and advice. |

I agree with sludge,
As with all things in mentalism it is vital to have at least two ways to perform any effect. Dougs work is very good and so is Dream Signs (but then I would say that!) Both achieve similar effects, both depend on different methodology, as such you would do well to invest time and effort into at least two methods if you wish to perfom this effect with more freedom. Dougs work is a vital introduction into the progressive annagram system whilst Dream Signs is important for those who wish to experiment with psychological methodology and the related systems. In my performances I will use both (and other systems) depending on the performance situation - personaly I find I use Dream signs more often as I am more comfortable with how the effect appears to the spectator - but sometimes circumstances lend themselves to the more traditional PA systems. I'd say get both and have many strings to your bow! |

Thanks to all for the kind words. As has been suggested, Sign Language (along with all of my releases, for that matter) is available only directly from The Deceptionary.

It can also be done in French with little adaptation as suggested by Doug Dyment himself on his website.

I highly recommend both "Sign Language" and "Mindsights". Great ideas, written exceptionally well.

Do any of you gentlemen use the Dyment Stack. How does it compare with other ordered decks. I have been looking ay several stacked decks (i.e. memorizing the Tamariz Stack). It never hurts to have a couple of ordered decks available (ask David Berglas...) Just wondering anyone... if you're using it, tell me what you think (Doug, your notes sound great!)

Hello Gentlemen,
I have not ordered Sign Language yet (but I will after this posting). Living in Brazil I have been doing Progressive Anagrams in Portuguese (this can be quite confusing for me!) I have made some myself but I use the software program called Panagram which allows for biases in other languages. David

"Sign Language" and "Mindsights" are excellent works that should be part of every library on mentalism. Every “mystery entertainer” will find valuable information in these books, no matter how experienced you are. Especially “Flash Squared” and “OuickStack” (both in "Mindsights" ) should not be missed.
Doug Dyment is not only a creative mind and a great writer, but also a very fine gentleman. Very highly recommended.

Not only late, but completely unrelated to the topic, both in effect and methodology.
