I start out with my right pants pocket empty....
I do a coin vanish and put my right hand in the pocket and the spec believes I just ditched (it). Moving on this suspicion of the specs, I reach into my pocket and "pull the bunny ear out" leaving the pocket out. It being the pocket slowly retracts into the pocket opening. JUST STUNNING to the spec(s). I love it works great and I made it! Any thoughts? Got the idea after I read a post somewhere in here. Almost positive I did not invent anything, but killer out in the field.

I cannot understand what you're saying. Sorry.
What does this mean... ...it being the pocket slowly retracts into the pocket opening

That's easy-peasy-lemon-squeesy! Especialy since it's your first effect! Just attatch a thread to the outside end of the pocket's inside, and have it running to your back or a jacket zipper, etc.. One pull will achieve the desired effect, and the thread dosen't have to be itr thread either since it's on the non-visible side of your pocket.

A ha!!!
I finally get it. I start out with my right pants pocket empty.... I do a coin vanish and put my right hand in the pocket and the spec believes I just ditched (it). Moving on the spec's suspicion, I reach into my pocket and pull it inside-out. The empty pocket is now hanging outside of my pants. [I snap my fingers and] The pocket slowly retracts into my pants (the pocket opening). JUST STUNNING to the spec(s). I love it. It works great and I thought of it all by myself! What should the other end of the thread be attached to?

Your... eh, no... Actually attach it to your OTHER POCKET. Pull it out and the first one goes in. Reverse it a couple of times... I think I did this 30 or so years ago.

I still don't get it, I know I'm slow. I get Pete's idea, but I always load up my pockets, so, I have to make a compromise. I like the idea, but could someone please explain this to me?

I´m a young one Mr. Biro, and I haven´t heard about this effect before. Amidragal, the string between the pockets, it is such a great idea. As it is written in this forum I suspect it is public domain and no-one will kill me if I use this gag in my street show.

I saw this effect in the Johnny Ace Palmer Trilogy. It really is a neat effect. I believe it is called the Zombie Pocket. The only problem I have is getting the pocket to retract entirely into my pants.

I have not seen it done by anyone else, and jus for the record I understand I have NOT invented anything in doing this. GL

Such discussion over a pocket that's got nothing in it!! Ha, ha.
A good idea-starter for the thread, and good attention getter-out on the street.
The presentation makes the magic.
