The only kind of impromptu card magic I do is with borrowed decks, and often the decks are dirty, greasy, sticky bridge decks with dogs and flowers on the back and no white border -- no Twisting the Aces with these pasteboards. I find even the most basic sleights can be problematic. What effects do you do that have minimal potential for problems -- other than Fulves's Gemini Twins and Daryl's Untouched??

You would do the 2 Card Monte with a "sticky" bridge deck with no white border? Wow. A DL, A TL and TC is a bit too risky for me with a messy deck. You are much braver than I.

Did you see that?

Three Card Monte if they don't mind you bending their cards.

Force a card, shuffle it back into the deck, go through the deck to show them the card is still there (while actually setting it for a spell from the top), then spell it out. Not a magician fooler, but always gets a good reaction from laymen.

I would probably do "Untouched". By the way, don't try Las Vegas Leaper (in it's true incarnation, anyway) with a borderless deck. The "in the spectator's hands" false count won't work with a full, to-the-edge back.

Paul Harris's "Bushwhacker". With borrowed, moldy cards, it would certainly be more convincing . ..

You can Force any '4' then do the old 'grey elephants in demmark' trick, really spooky if presented correctly ..(no offence but)i prefer not to do the math thingy because it can be quite disturbing if the audience starts to trace back on the effect, plus it can be too longwinded

Try the Piano Trick from The Royal Road to Card Magic (page 117); even the most dog-eared deck in the universe will work - no sleights required, purely presentation, excellent magic.

Miraskill is another really good one, if presented well.

My usual opener... card on forehead (from Tubthumping) or The Homing Card (from Stars Of Magic).
