Hi Everybody.
I considered getting one of them but I don't know which one to decide. What do you guys think is better? I'm MORE into the advanced stuff, that's why I picked these 2 choices. All the best, Michael |

They are both very good DVDs, so you really can't go wrong with either one. However, I would have to go with Pyrotechnic Pasteboards because Gregory Wilson is an outstanding performer and I find his effects on his DVD more crowd pleasing. You can learn a lot from Marlo's The Cardician as well, but they are mostly moves as opposed to effects. For example, he goes through a variety of passes and deals. There are a few effects on the DVD, but they aren't as entertaining imo as Greg's. Both are enjoyable to watch, since Gregory Wilson very amusing, but Marlo will surely hold your interest with the funny stories he shares in The Cardician (Not to mention seeing his card handling skills).
So if your looking to learn technical moves such as the bottom deal, second deal, passes, etc., then I would go with The Cardician. If your looking to acquire effects that really grab the audience's attention, then go with Pyrotechnic Pasteboards. Either way, both are a great investment. I hope this helps you decide! Joe |
