Does anyone have a review of this effect listed at Hank Lee's magic site? Would you also include the dimensions of the dry erase board please. Thank you!

The effect is listed under his "Hot List" section. It is an eraser used on a dry erase board.
If you still can't find it, give them a call. |

It's not on his hot list either!
Could you tell us the effect? Gerard |

I just visited Hank Lee's site. "The Mirage" is listed under either "Hot From Frank" or "Hank's Hot List". I found it on page 5 under "Hot From Frank". I also typed in "The Mirage" and it come up correctly. It lists for $95.00.

Very good effect
I can see the basic method how the effect can be achived. its very simple if you just think about it. If the performer can copy the image WIHTOUT taking the board back then it would be nothing short of a miracle. |

I was a little skeptical at first but after I got it, and started to actually use it, I found it to be a great tool. I think It's a great prop. You can use with any board, the secret is in the Dry Eraser itself.
The Dimension is more or less the same as a real dry eraser you can get in any office supply shop. Hocus Pocus, had a good idea of gluing an "EXPO" sticker on it, so it looks even more real. See picture here: http://www.hocus-pocus.com/magicshop/?hn=1 The nice thing about it is that unlike a special clipboard, this one packs very small, and it's easy to take around. And no need for preshow work. I also like the fact that the spectator himself uses it to erase the drawing from the board, and still it looks completely innocent. |

Hats off to you Mehtas -- the description of this one has me stumped! It says you know the drawing just by taking back the eraser, without looking at the board, which kills whatever theory I had in mind.

Does the performer have to erase the board, or can the spectator do it?

The spectator is the one erasing the board. You just hand him the eraser.
