I finally got my copy of Simply Harkey by David Harkey (www.misdirections.com) and I can't praise it enough. I've been waiting to read such a book for a long time. The effects and their methods are very creative and introduce whole new angles of thought. Another plus is that many if not most of the effects are not card tricks and the few card tricks are all hard hitters. Imo, if someone were to take out only the best tricks from the AoA series they'd end up with Simply Harkey.

Mats,

Thanks for the review. I was lucky enough to recently find a copy still shrink wrapped!! I have been meaning to crack it open. Your review has proveded that needed impetus.

Magic is a vanishing Art.

This must not be Kansas anymore, Toto.

Eschew obfuscation.
