Do you guys know of any male illusionists or brothers that perform together as their act other than in Vegas. I am thinking of making up a new act around this idea.

Zardin did that some. However, John was killed in an automobile accident in Oklahoma in the 90s.

The most famous magician in the Netherlands is Hans Kazan. (The part I liked the most about him was at a hidden camera television show. Beautiful to see that much amazement and disbelieve when they moved the steering wheel of his car from the left side to the right side.)
His two sons have also made the jump into illusionism and are in fact two brothers performing magic. Though they had performances in Vegas, most of their time they're in The Netherlands. They call themself Magic Unlimited. |

"Magic Unlimited" are mostly in Spain in Hans Kazaan's theatre.
There is a British act called "Twins" - the brothers are of course - twins! |

Myself and fellow Café member Kennedy are currently putting together an illusion show in the UK with the view to doing a tour etc.
Generally male illusionists working together is a rarity though. TM |

This is a bit off subject, but what a show a pair of identical twins could put on if nobody knew there was a twin. Think of the possibilities. I wonder if some of you historical magic scholars out there can tell us if anyone ever tried to pull that one off...

Did you see that?

Tried it? or Pulled it off?
Well someone has done both and has pulled it off successfully. However not every time did he pull it off. At least on one occasion it went terribly wrong and was caught on tape for all to see. JP is the initials. Kevin

Well, there is the famous "half-brother" team of the Ecks, including Johnny Eck (if my memory is correct) who did a sawing in half routine where Johnny, who had no legs would jump out of the box on his hands.

If I remember correctly, Blackstone Sr had a twin brother. I just do not know wether they used that genetic "advantage" on stage or not...

Only if I was evil enough to do that. Oh wait I am doing that. Right now my brother and I are playing Dracula. Use your imagination and you can only imagine all the wild things that go on in the show.
