Has anyone had any experience of using these spoons. I was worried about handing them out after bending them. Their not brittle like normal plastic spoons.

After the visual bending (using the patter of heat, perhaps?) the fact that they don't break like normal plastic spoons shouldn't matter...after all, if the visual act of the spoon bending doesn't slay your audience you're doing something wrong...or they're all blind (or simply too stupid to understand what's going on! <grin>)

Why not just bend metal ones ?

In theory a bending plastic spoon seems even more unbelieveable than a metal one as they snap under pressure. I do bend metal ones as well as they are more versatile and allow for more effects.
