Just regarding the Kazoo, you can hear Jimi Hendrix play it on 'Crosstown Traffic'

Hi, Barry. I studied the classical guitar and did many concerts as a student. Then I turned to lute playing and became the first lute player to get a degree at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, in London. Over the years I have learned several instruments, guitars and lutes of different periods, mainly the Baroque lute, and did postgraduate studies in Basel, Switzerland, and played professionally for a while. I still take it seriously, mostly solo music (there's a huge, fantastic, repertoire). Thanks for lending me that guitar at the Rockies. I usually take an instrument with me on long trips, if I don't have to take too many planes, as was the case this time. Andrew Goldenhersh, a fine magician and guitarist, lent me a guitar in LA. Others that quickly come to mind are Tina Lenert (harp) and Michael Close (jazz piano), and Gordon Bruce (whom I haven't had the pleasure to meet) double bass.

I'm a bluegrass musician, 5-string banjo, mandolin, guitar and bass (but not fiddle or dobro, darn it!) I've been in several bands and still emcee the Lakes Bluegrass Festival every year.

Way more of a musician than a magician, I play mainly lead guitar and lap steel, then bass, piano, drums, irish tin whistle.
My current band is a variety show of revivalist roots music, including rockabilly, jump blues, rock and roll, country, bluegrass, gymnastic buck owens type dual guitar instrumentals, hillbilly, blues, western swing and jazz. Think Joe Clay meets Wynonie Harris meets Hank Ballard Meets Billy Jack Wills Meets Joe Maphis.
A lot of fellows nowadays have a B.A., M.D., or Ph.D. Unfortunately, they don't have a J.O.B. - Fats Domino

Triangle. Just kidding. Tuba. Still kidding.
Six string accoustic fingerstyle. Not kidding. Better magician than musician...definitely not kidding.
Will you walk into my parlour? said the Spider to the Fly,
Tis the prettiest little parlour that ever you did spy; The way into my parlour is up a winding stair, And I've a many curious things to show when you are there. Oh no, no, said the little Fly, to ask me is in vain, For who goes up your winding stair -can ne'er come down again. |

I've been learning violin for about eight years now, I like it a lot. I've never really composed anything. I can't say whether I'm better at magic or music. I like them both, but magic more.
