I would post a reply but I'm sure that every possible pun using an adjective somewhat linked to cooking has been used... or misused as the case may be.

Oh well...

I'd best be off I will return later in the week and see what other puns people have managed to COOK up!!! .... infact ... it will probably be FRYday....

Sorry

After Liam's post, about every pun being used, I wracked my brain for a way to use "saute".
Couldn't do it, though!
However, Macbeth could.
Congratulations, it fricaseed me!

Prettylady,
Camelot is rightly compaining about the excessive use of the word "fried" in magic comments:
"This trick will fry them."
"His moves fried the audience."
And so on.
The rest of us were trying to be amusing.

Remember the commercial for "drugs=bad" ??

this is your brain

this is your brain on magic

Think of an egg sizzling in the pan. And use that as a metaphor for someone trying in vain to puzzle out how a trick was done.

How about "frying their socks"?
LOL!

What a mixed metaphor! On the other foot, I think that "fried socks" might go well with filet of sole and shoestring potatoes.

Holy "mackerel"; with all this cooking hype, I don't know if the "real work" is enough to "fry" the pants off anyone or not. I guess I'll go out and get "pickled," just for the "halibut." Then I can come back with a fresh head and try to sort out the wheat from the chaff. That way I should be able to tell which effects are really "hot." I only want real "reputation makers."
(My apologies for this post. I guess it's pretty "fruity.")

Peter,

I don't "try to" convict them;
I "try to" FRY them.

(Occupational hazard)

btw, My favorite 'defense attorney' line was the one where he asked the judge:
"How is my client expected to get a fair trial with all this evidence against him?!"

/"Use a pun...go to prison" Smile

This trick is guaranteed to fry your audience. No skill required. No practice required. The amazingly hilarious script is included and works for every performer, every time, guaranteed. This is a totally new principle that has never been seen before. Imagine this a bucket of gasoline is shown, then thrown on a volunteer. Before you can say presto chango, your audience is fried. No matches or lighter . . a totally new method.

This has been a closely guarded secret in the secret magic underground that no one knows about. So secret in fact that only a handful of super secret magicians have even seen this very powerful and secret effect. Only the very privileged and upper echelon magicians know about this amazingly super secret …er uhh … secret.

Only now, will the creator of this effect let it go. We had to pry it out of his hands with loads of money. Lucky you. A very limited supply has been obtained and will only last as long as the money lasts. So order now. Order two for only double the price so that you will have an extra to put in your magic drawer right next to the first one that you will not use.

PS no refunds.
