Thanks guys. I know the price from the website, I just wanted to know how much postage was going to cost as obviously that makes a big difference when ordering from the UK (I have been stung big time in the past). I also wasn't sure if I was required to pay the additional tax that was listed.
Anyway - I haven't been put off in the slightest. I will try emailing again. thanks for the replies. |

Guys, I was wondering, what is your patter for Nana's Necklace? I don't know the reason for bringing the ropes and beads out. I'm currently working on ring and string routine (using the Nana's Necklace string) , then going into it after. How does everyone else use it?

This is a keeper. After working on my presentation and handling for a couple of weeks I have now done this for about 15 groups of lay people...never fails to amaze. I just stick it back in my jacket pocket and it's ready to go. My early mistake was in doing it too fast. You have to take your time and really sell the impossibility of it before pulling the cords. Done too fast they think they missed something and it has more of a puzzle feel to it. Let them acknowledge the impossible nature of what you propose to do before you do it. (Thanks, Dean, for the tips on taking my time) My get-ready is different than in the instructions, but I think with a little experimentation everyone can find one they are comfortable with.

Man, every time I start to feel like I've got more than enough routines to work on, guys like Dean Dill and Pete Biro create something that I've just GOT to start doing. I told my wife about a month ago that I'm content to just work on the stuff that I've got on my list of routines; then I saw Dean performing Nana's Necklace at the Castle Swap Meet...Arrghhhh!

Does Mr. Dill use the RED or BLACK rope when he performs this?..........

Dean's stuff is always great because he takes an old principle of magic and adds something to it that makes it new and improved. There are many variations of the GM necklace principal, but this is a real power improvement. Great job Dean!

Dill uses red or black depending on what he's wearing, so the color coordinates (mostly black).

Seems like this might flow nicely with Dean's Box also.

Overseas postage is $9.00 Global Priority, 4-6 business days and $21.00 Express Mail, 3-5 business days. Express has a tracking number in case it gets lost or has a slow delivery.
In the states $3.85 by priority mail. I use the black for everyday use and red when I perform. The black is harder to see in darker situations, especially against a black suit. Thanks for all the good press. I am happy that you all like it as much as I do. I carry it with me all the time. It is good in all situations. And the slow sell really makes a difference. By the way we miss you here at the shoppe Mr. Scott Swan, Dean Dill |

Does the color of the cords really make a difference unless you're an Armani model magi? I'm sure you could specify a color if yout heart desired. Black always represents the mysterious.

Hi Brian:
Color only matters in regards to the spectator being able to see the effect. Dean mentioned that black cords are harder to see in places where the lighting isn't good. Other than that, there's no advantage in using a specific color of cord. I'm not quite sure what you meant be "Armani model". The velvet cords Dean provides are very elegant. I hope this helps you. Hi, folks! I am curious if Dean Dill's routine uses a move similar to what I have been doing in a walk around magic routine. For the last couple of years I have been doing the hindu beads or oddball (that's the one in which you show a solid wooden ball, a clear plastic or solid wooden case and two cords) and pass out everything. Then in front of the spectators I nonchalantly do a move that adds a h***h (similar to the ropes through body routine) and have the spectator pass the cords through beads or ball. The beads or ball end up in the spectator's hands. I know this isn't the right forum to expose specific moves but I was just curious. What the heck, I'll probably order to see if it's similar or if he uses different moves. Dean Dill rocks!
