Really? Bought this a few years agoNever ever used it once - didn't want to insult my audiences. Why use this, when you can do the same effect gimmick free? Never buy anything now without searching around the Café long and hard now.

The new 2005 version is a vast improvement, it is now only one card thick and a totally new hinge.

Funny how we all see things differently.

I feel the original BLINK is just fine the way it is. Just a nice little quicky trick. The instant change is quite visual. I somtimes just end a short routine with this.

Also i,ve seen the " new improved" version and think it's horrible. YOU CAN NOW SEE THE GAFF! It's kinda on the outside. The old version gaff was built in.

Amazing how people have differing opinions on this stuff.

I think the new gaff idea is cool. I like what mark is doing with his effects these days... there on to something new. If you guys like blink (the new version) then you should check out stickman sam... its a very cool effect

Why not just learn the sleight of hand trick by Richie Sanders that this is so OBVIOUSLY based on!!and stop encouraging this rip off of someone elses material

I love the gimmick! If you read the directions it said to place your thumb over the crease. When I do the change I drop the deck from my hand to the table about 5-10 inches below my hand. Never fails! Always gets a killer reaction. Although I am afraid that the gimmick could break at anymoment and I couldn't fix it up, I still enjoy it for what it is.

Mine just broke less than an hour after using it. I like the idea but it is too fragile.

I Sent an email to Mark Mason, he replied rather quickly and is helping me replace part of the gaff. That was very prompt service. I think it is a fun effect.

I recently bought a whole lot of JB Magic products, but after playing with Blink! for less than 3 minutes (I only did the change about 5 times!), the gimmick broke.
Normally, the JB Magic products I have bought in the past have been of the highest quality. But this particular product I found it was very flimsy and surprised it broke so fast! Maybe I got a bad apple?

Is there anything I can do? Or is that $10 down the drain?

Any help would be appreciated.

You can fix it yourself, either contact Mark and he will send out replacement for you or contact Wizardcraft http://www.wizardcraft.com and they will tell you what you need to replace the broken part. I think it cost like $20 and will last you a very long time.
