Hi,
I don't know whether to post this in We Double Dare You or in here. I had an idea, and I want to know if it is possible and not more difficult than traditional C&B. I am not an expert (actually I am a beginner), so you might consider my questions as obvious. I (theoretically) know how to do C&B from a french VHS. I start over with 3 cups and I ask a spectator to lend me her ring (easier to say than to do) and do some teleportation with it from the bottom to the top cup (that shouldn't be too hard). Then I do a telepotation between 2 cups on the table. I could also do a French Drop disappear and reappear in the cup. I guess that for that we need an extra ring SIMILAR to the borrowed one, or an external add (or whatever an "Ajout extérieur" is called in english). Then I could ask two other spectators to lend their rings and do some switching places. I can also do some other effects with borrowed rings. I think my routine idea is original, just tell me if it is possible and possibly PM me ideas (I am always very careful when it comes to exposure). You can also use this routine without worrying about copyright (unless, of course, it is too similar to someone else's) |

Interesting idea. If using 3 borrowed(?) rings, maybe incorporate a linking finger ring segment with a Himber Ring. They all gather under a single cup, but linked together.

Sounds dangerous as all get-out to me. It would be all too easy to knock out a stone, to scratch, scrape, or otherwise mar a ring through this kind of treatment...

Use ringers.
