I am looking for a pair of doves to possibly add to my show. I am in South Dakota and nobody around here has them. Would anyone want to sell a pair? Also, how do you go about shipping a dove?

Contact Dakota Rose, http://www.dakotarosemagic.com, he's ususally got some...or http://www.stromberschickens.com, they'll ship them to you and I've gotten doves from them before, and the good news for you is they will only sell them in pairs!

The cheapest and guaranteed way to ship is through the post office. Shipping charges for up to 4 birds is usually about $22 and overnight delivery is guaranteed.

Matthew, when did UPS start shipping birds? It's been about a year since I shipped any and at that time, UPS wouldn't handle them. Good to know though. Thanks

I have three babies that I would like to find a magical home for before winter. I don't know about UPS but I do ship them through the post office overnight delivery. I got this info form Dave Scribner and Bob Sanders. It works great.

Let me know if anyone would like some doves. I would really like to find some good homes for some of them before winter.

Thanks Dakota. The post office I think is great. Inexpensive and guaranteed overnight delivery. Even if UPS was shipping birds, I don't have the confidence level.
