I believe the sleight belongs to Ross Bertram and is called "Crash Glass." I also think I saw the effect/sleight in one of the Karl Fulves self-working series.

The left hand holds a glass by its mouth. The right hand taps its coin on the bottom of the glass. The coin is thrown in front of the tumbler, bouncing off the left palm and into the glass, but travels so fast that it can't be seen. The effect is of a coin visibly penetrating the bottom of a glass.

These are the details as I remember them. Can someone verify this for me?

Ross Bertram does have a trick called "A coin in Tumbler" in a book called Magic and Methods of Ross Bertram. I recomend his other book also Bertram on sleight of hand. These are both faboulous books. Hope this helps Smile

Thanks, Reed.

I finally got the book "Self-Working Coin Magic" by Karl Fulves, and he references a "Crash Glass" move by Ross Bertram on page 18.
