Platt,

That is one of the best commercials I've ever seen! I laughed so hard it hurt. Wow... an honor to have you post in my thread. I always admire those clever commercials that make you wish you could think of something like that.

Here's another jingle, "Rice...a-roni...the San Fransico treat!'
Magic Mark

"How'd you do that?" ... "Very carefully."

Platt,

I don't often talk about commercials to my friends, but I've mentioned that one to my friends as one of my current favorites, and they all agree!

Great job on that, Platt!

Thanks for the kind words on the heineken spot.

It's funny to see the difference between the ads the ad world likes versus the ads the people the ads are aimed at likes.

Hmmm... a bit like magicians and magic.

We had another commerical similar to that. It's filmed from the dog's point of view and he can smell bacon. So, while the camera is shooting around the kitchen like crazy, you hear the dog saying; "Bacon, bacon, bacon. There's only one thing that smells like bacon and that bacon! Is this it? (Smelling the package called 'Beggin' Strips') Is this it? I CAN'T READ!"
"There's no time to lose," I heard her say.
"Catch your dreams before they slip away."
"Dying all the time, lose your dreams and you could lose your mind.
Ain't life unkind?"

I loved the song on the Hallmark Greeting card commercials. I don't know the title but the lyrics started as, "I remember you, You remember me....."
Does anyone know who the artist is that sings it?

I liked Jay Leno's ads for Frito/Lays, "Crunch all you want, we'll make more." It was so much more positive than "Get your own bag!"
"There's no time to lose," I heard her say.
"Catch your dreams before they slip away."
"Dying all the time, lose your dreams and you could lose your mind.

No--the BEST is:

Little Cesars:

"I painted the sistene chapel (or something) on the head of a pin" (then they show the pin to the camera close up)
Then "I taught me dog how to say I love you"
(and the dog barks I LOVE YOU).

This was a GREAT commercial!
