If someone asked you to suggest books on card magic utilizing few or no sleights (other principles are fine, such as memorized/stacked decks, gaffed cards, etc.), which titles would you recommend?
Here are a few to get the ball rolling ... Magic With Cards - Frank Garcia & George Schindler Self-Working Card Tricks (and its sequels)- Karl Fulves Scarne On Card Tricks - John Scarne Semi-Automatic Card Tricks (5 vols.) - Steve Beam World's Best Card Tricks - Bob Longe Redivider - Phil Goldstein The Card Magic of Nick Trost- Nick Trost |

Just going through an old email I got from Peter Duffie, wherein he says that his book Subtle Miracles is non-sleight magic (a few counts), although most of the tricks require extra cards and gimmicks (all easily made).
He also indicated that of all the e-books he has written (available for sale on his web site), the following five contain hardly any sleight-of-hand tricks: Cards In Principle Ulterior Motifs 21 Card Tricks Cards Insight Deck Direct |

Leo Behnke put out a book called "Card Tricks They Cant Explain". From what I remember, most (if not all) of the effects use self working principles or no sleight of hand.

Apart from those mentioned (and Peter's Effortless Card Magic is a favourite) you could try
"Mathcasts Aspellonu" by Howard Adams. Paul. |

Simple Yet Effective tricks with Cards by Jerry Mentzer has few sleights and has a chapter that covers Prearranged decks. And I don't have it but I think that Cunning Card Miracles by him is along the same lines.

Aldo Colombini has a variation of Simon Aronsons shuffle board which is the easist trick I've ever seen, but very very strong (i think a sharper effect than shuffle board)

Hermetic Press will soon start publishing Roberto Giobbi's "Roberto Light" trilogy, for the first time in English. This trilogy is well known in Spanish, German and Italian as being a great collection of easy and self-working effects.
