This is NOT an ad... I have NO affiliation with this company. Check my post histories, I'm not one to do this, but this one is huge...

I work during the day as a Development Engineer and have occasion to design small parts for various projects we have.

I recently read about an online machine shop where one can download some CAD software, choose your material and completely design just about any part. You even have a complete 3-D rendering of it.

Well, I gave it a shot today for a part I needed at work. I couldn't be more impressed. The free software was extremely easy to use, but very versatile as well. I designed a stainless steel mount and it came out perfect.

I clicked on Price and after making a few clarifications, it kicked $90.28 for this part. I'm just amazed. If I want this, I can simply order it and in a few weeks have the part on my front door. If I want more than one, the price goes down per unit.

This has to be one of the most useful tools available on the net.

As I thought about, I realized there are a lot of magicians out there who could really use something like this. If you've got an idea for a prop, simple load up the CAD software and see what it would cost you.

The website is http://www.eMachineShop.com

I sure hope this is something you all really can use. Again, I'm not getting a dime out of mentioning this, simply wanting to share a great tool.

I'd love to know what others think of this service and maybe share a bit about how you used it.

God Bless,
Paul
