Where can I find uses for this?
I've got one but never used it, so I'm looking for any ideas and/or references to books. cheers Tony |

Hi. If you read the description at the following website (where magnetic inserts for TT's are sold), they refer to a "Magnet-Up Video" which teaches:
1) Stop and start any watch 2) Make things cling to each other (ala PK?) 3) Change quarters to pennies without palming (ala Raven?) 4) and claims to offer "video reports" from magicians in Japan, Las Vegas, and Europe. I do not own this, but in the past have considered buying it. Perhaps someone can comment on it. The web address is: http://www.hottrix.com/html/MagnetUp.shtml |

In Craig Dickson's lecture notes, For the Entertainer II, there are a few routines involving the magnetic TT.

When I have dinner with friends I always use the MTT after eating dessert. I take one spoon with in right ( TT ) hand and one spoon in my left hand. Then Rub the lefthandspoon on my right arm "to charge" it and make one spoon hang on the other. You can even make one spoon turn without falling down. Then I let my friends try. Fun!

I wonder if it could function as a more compact, not to mention more convenient Raven. This is the first time I'm discovering this gimmick but it's very intriguing.
