Can anyone elaborate on the differences in these two books? Does Stunners plus contain additional info and if so on which items?
Any help is appreciated Shawn |

This link to the book on Larry's website may be of some help.

Stunners Plus has all the first Stunners' material plus directions for many of Larry's other marketed effects.

Is that the only difference. I have the first stunners book and have compared the table of contents. Everything seems the same. I have even compared his entry for ultimate flashback and everything seems the same. Does anyone know of specific entries that were updated? Should I purchase stunners plus if I have the original?

Be sure to give X-The Unknown a try on page 151. Sorry!!! I couldn't pass up the opportunity to give it a plug. I don't know how my effect got into Larry's book. My pleading and begging may have helped. Kidding aside, Larry's book is a goldmine and I can't imagine any serious mentalist not having it in his library.

I would have to agree with lboudreau. its a very good book. many effects went straight into my repetoire. in fact, serial killer and sneak theif supreme are two of the better effects that I perform often

Shawn,
I would suggest that since you have Stunners you already have the meat of the book and do not need the expanded edition. If you wish to find out more of what is listed, I believe the contents were posted some time ago. If not, PM me and we can talk. Samuel

At one point, Larry was offering the "Plus" material from Stunners Plus as a .pdf file for those who had purchased the original book. I think there was a nominal charge involved for those who purchased the paperback reprint edition. The material in the new section is quite good. It's mostly the (incredibly highly detailed) instruction sheets for a lot of the marketed items, but there are some new non-marketed effects in the mix as well. It's well worth tracking down.

I agree. I have the hard cover of the original, but also purchased the Stunners! Plus! version, too. It occupies the same special place in my library that I put the Stewart James MagicByThePound set, Compleat Magick, and other compendiums. John LeBlanc |
