Michael Baker Eternal Order Near a river in the Midwest 11172 Posts |
Making progress on my miniature haunted house. Main pieces cut and being primed. Started that and a vanishing alarm clock for my kid show, plus a newspaper tear-apart to sell. Something just right about standing in sawdust.
So what time are we planning to begin in Huntsville this time? I'm guessing we'll just all meet at the restaurant?

Cant wait to see that haunted house. The vanishing alarm clock should be great. I never sweep out my shop. I love the sawdust myself. Too cold and damp in there today though but I'm caught up and have been inside all the doo dah day but I gotta head to the woodpile and split some firewood for the evening.
Somebody tell me again what exit that is to the restaurant. I think I can find it but maybe you or Rick can give me a landmark and a guestimate on how many miles. Looking 4ward to it again. -=tabman

How about 6 PM on the 10th? It's the exit for Highway 72, Tabby. And since I come left to right on 72, I don't know the exit number.
If the time is ok, I'll call the place and let them know 6-8 will be there. Rick |

I haven't checked this yet, but I think somewhere much earlier in this thread is the exit number and maybe a mapquest link (from the 1st PMZZ).
I'll check it later tonight. Magic club meeting (Ring 35) tonight. Gotta run! ~michael

Thanks Rick. You're a great event coordinator!!!! I'll try to get an answer on whether Bill is coming from the Huntsville Club so we'll have a better head count. It would probably be 6.

Ohhh, that's great. The Cowboy Hall of Fame is wonderful, you will love it. I didn't know Linda's daddy is in there??? I was just over there a couple years ago. Now, I'll have to go back. Further south, down in Waco TX is the TX Ranger Museum set at the original site of the first HDQ. I sat on a stone wall that the Rangers made while killing time waiting for orders. You could feel the history all around you.
It sounds like a super trip. I know you will have a good time at the CHF. -=tabman Thanks Michael, I just printed it out. I should have it memorized soon and wont need help negotiating the backroads of Bamalamaland. -=tabman

Bama has always fascinated me but in a kind of scarey way!!!
You see, down in south Georgia where I come from, my cousin is the sheriff, my old Sunday school teacher's son is the state represenative and my best friend since I was 9 is a state senator. Oh did I mention that I was the campaign manager in high school for the judge of the superior court and another pal is mayor not to mention that I'm well known to the former president's family and even to the former president himself. Once I hit the Sumter county line I'm safe!!! Come to think of it, I oughta move back home now that I'm near 'bout 60. Ya'll come see us, ya' hear!!! -=tabman

Table is reserved for us at 6 PM on Thursday Feb 10th.
It's call "The Kings Room". Now we have to create a card trick with that name Rick |

You assume correctly yo' kingly princeship, suh!!
Really though, I think Michael looks more like a king, Bob makes a perfect prime minister so maybe I can be the sgt at arms!!! Sgt would be a big step up for me since I'm a mere private around here as it says so on my office door here in the studio! Actually, maybe King Michael will knight me. I'd like to be sir tabman (all lower case, thank you)!! Pete Biro, of course, is like Merlin!!! Birlin??!! -=tabman Quote:

Every US state, Mexico, Canada, SE Asia, Japan, the UK and more working in the entertainment business going from the bottom of the barrel to the top and then back to the bottom again. Really, I don't know how Birlin continues to travel so much. He's one tough cookie and he keeps on smilin' and folks love him every where he goes!!! Chicago is my favorite US city. That's in Illinois isn't it??? Great bunch of people and I include you right at the top of the list. I'm glad to meet you. We'll be friends as long as you want. I like the midwest almost as much as I love the deep south. -=tabman

Something very mystical about the Midwest, if you know how to let it find you.
King, Prince, Prime Minister???? What about "The Ruhler"! King's Room, eh? Maybe that makes us all knights of the round table. Great new avatar Tabby. Who's in the photo next to you? ~michael
