Just a quick FYI regarding eBay item number 2289320151... The item described as "Authentic Rings 'N Things Aluminum Cups" has been mis-represented. The cups in the photograph are not Rings 'N' Things. They appear to be an older style of Morrissey's cups which, although nice cups, have a value of only a fraction of genuine RnT cups. You may see photos for comparison at Bill Palmer's excellent reference site...

The Cups and Balls Museum

It is possible (my memory is good but not perfect) that RnT did not even make their standard sized Monti cups in aluminum. Perhaps one of our cups historians here on the Café would have more information.

Be aware that the user selling these cups has posted fraudulent or misleading eBay ads in the past under the ID of "entrelaw". At least one of these ads has been the subject of discussion on this forum. As always, use caution when considering a bid on an item of dubious collectible value.

I saw that ad, too. I smelled a rat at the time, and I thank you for posting on it.

These may be some that Tim Star spun. According to Mike Brazill, Tim had a tendency to spin a longer skirt sometimes.

You never know.

I should also point out that the bottoms of those cups were larger than normal Morrissey Cups.

The auction of these cups ended just barely over twenty-four hours ago and the seller is no longer a registered eBay user. Hmmmm. Smile

He probably has a new identity.

He never gave up the old one, you know. He changed it to peejay0000.

Looks like peejay0000 AKA entrelaw is also no longer a registered user.

Come on. We know that you make frequent trips to Irvine, CA, just to rip off unsuspecting eBay members!
