First off, yes I know its a rip off but I own it and I may as well use it. The problem I'm having is because the cap has to stay on the regular end during use, I end up storing it with an uncovered point in my pocket. Now it hasn't leaked yet but I'm afraid it might. Also because of the extra length of the pen it doesn't fit in my pocket like a regular pen. Any suggestions on how/where to store it for strolling close up gigs? I wear a suit and have forgone the fanny pack of my kid show days.

I just put the tip face down in my shirt pocket. What happens though is that there is ink left and I have to wash it. I'm still trying to figure out some good way to carry this pen around.

How about just using another cap from another pen? Cheap and easy solution. You'll have a double-capped pen.

AH hah! Dan, you may have hit on something. I will try it. See, I knew I was missing the obvious I just needed someone to point it out.

I can never keep the cap on mine. I love it otherwise.

Edd:

Well, in the interest of full disclosure, it wasn't totally obvious to me either. I made my own version of the Perfect Pen not too long ago, and it takes two pens to make one PP. That meant I had two caps staring me in the face when I was done. But see, at that time, I had a solution but didn't realize I even had a problem that needed solving. ;^)
