I am surprised that no one has mentioned Cirque du Soleil. I have seen Mystere several times. There is also O and now Ka.

OK, got back, quick trip report....

Saw:

Mac King (great)

Got half price offer to see Rick Thomas (magic) at the Tropicana. He was ok; his manner and personality onstage didn't come across very well, plus I do not prefer "cabinets, birds, lions and doves", but he was a good technician and his linking rings were *beautiful*.

Mystere - boring. The performers were technically superb, but too much fluff and not well tied together. Stuff I've seen for a long time simply put into an avant garde package. The man-baby was good....for about 5 minutes(ugh). YMMV.

Denny and Lees - couldn't believe how *small* the place was. But had an enjoyable talk with the man behind the counter. When he showed me the $250 Proline Linking Rings my wife looked at them and said, "So THAT'S how you do that!" :^0

My ex-cat was named "Muffin". "Vomit" would be a better name for her. AKA "The Evil Ball of Fur".

Anytime anyone wants to talk about gambling and house advantage...let me know. I worked a number of years observing and protecting table games and will discuss any aspect of the adventure with anyone.

Be prepared. That's a good motto.
Will you walk into my parlour? said the Spider to the Fly,
Tis the prettiest little parlour that ever you did spy;
The way into my parlour is up a winding stair,
And I've a many curious things to show when you are there.

Oh no, no, said the little Fly, to ask me is in vain,
For who goes up your winding stair
-can ne'er come down again.
