Hi guys
Has anyone heard of the "360 Levitation"? Tilford Magic sell it: http://www.tilfordillusions.com/greek.html it looks amazing. Are there any better levitations out that look like this one in performance? thanks George |

Well I'd really be impressed IF the girl did a FULL rotation, This illusion is also a Creative Services original.

Well, she can't do a full rotation. (nor does the ad actually say she can.)

So is this illusion worth getting?

If you're looking for a full 360 rotation, then no. If you're looking for a partial (from side to side), then it might be something to look into further.

Ultimate Levitation from Splashes I've heard is the best thing on the market it packs relatively small and it can be done in a lot of situations.

And the price is a good way to start with compared to the others mentioned. Talk to Saydean....a very cool stuff he has in store....and if you want to know what people are talking about do a search and you will get several reviews...

I noticed an ad for this style of illusion in the latest issue of "Magic" magazine (Dec. 2004) by Owen Magic Supreme.
Georgio - You ask if it is worth getting. I suppose my answer would be yes, provided you have: * A large enough stage * Can transport an illusion of this size - it's going to take a truck * Have plenty of help, both on and off stage, to assemble/disassemble, perform, etc. * Take the time to stage, choreograph, light, and rehearse. * Oh, ya, and have a spare $10,000 US to part with! If the answer is no to any of those points, then consider something smaller, like a Gamalo or Lighter than Air Levitation. Regards, Chris |

Is it any good?

I own one and rebuilt it to suit myself. It has and can stand by-itself.
Is it good yes. I have not been disappointed in it. If you want to know about it, a similar version, The Simplex Levitation plans are are for sale on the Magic Auction. For about $20, you can make a decision on building or buying or it's not for you. Twenty is an "insurance policy" before making that $2,000 purchase. By the way, I personally like the 3-in-1 better, more options, and less money, and there is a need for an extra stage hand though.

So does the gamolo require a backdrop? is it electronically operated? Can I use it to levitate myself or an assistant lying down?
thanks George |

Backdrop, yes & no, it could BA if you want to walk away from it.
It isn't electronic. It ca be purchased to use DC or AC current. It requires an assistant, as most of these type of levitations do. Can you do it to yourself, NO. (Nothing is impossible, a solution can be found but I just don't want to rack my brain at this point.)
