Hello. I ran across an effect called "Houdini's Escape", and would like to ask those who have this if the coin is moveable by the Pro PK kit.
The Houdini's Escape effect is described as: "From a purse, you take out a Houdini coin. Show the coin on both sides, showing his head on one side, and his handcuffs on the other. Put the coin back into the purse. Explain that you will show how fast Houdini can escape from the purse. Place your hand face down on the table and place the purse on top of your hand. Lift the hand from the table. There is Houdini's Head! Open the purse and pour out the coin. Only the silhouette is left in the coin. In the hole, hangs Houdini's handcuffs! Show the purse empty and let them examine the coin." I am interested in this effect if I could routine it with my Pro PK. I would talk about Houdini's passion for channeling spirits, Show the coin, and use the PK to show that Houdini's spirit was in the coin. I think this would be a nice lead-in to the above-described effect. Thanks for any replies, Chris |

As far as I know the coin is not affected by a PK ****.

Around 2005, Greg Rostami provided a video of an effect where a coin (an EP) represented Houdini.
A metal ring(think bang ring) was capped on each end with a half dollar, then Harry disappeared, and was found inside the coin-capped ring. Next, one of the halves was was put in a small "cup"(think coin box), then the Houdini coin, and then a second half on top of the other two coins. In a moment Houdini penetrates through the bottom of the cup, and drops onto the table. The remaining coins from the cup are dumped out, and only the two haves are found. This is a nice effect, and has a cute story line. You can find a "Houdini" demo of this on Greg's website: www.rostamimagic.com Check it out.
